The story of a photographer

Photography is my passion. Photography is my happy place. Photography is my driving force.

Hi, Hello and Welcome to SoPreciousPhotography. Thank you so much for stopping by. My name is Precious, I am a Female Freelance Photographer based in Birmingham, West Midlands, UK. I was once told to "Do what you love, and love what you do" and I have decided to do exactly that!

My photography journey began from an early age, initially taking photos was something I saw as a pastime, it was fun and allowed me to express myself. Over a period of time I realised that photography allowed me to see and appreciate life through an entire new perspective and capture memories that our brains may fail to remember. Discovering this has encouraged me to pursue photography professionally that is natural, relaxed, and beautiful.

Being a photographer enables me to travel and interact with people. I have the privilege of constantly learning new things, enjoying different cultures and most importantly creating networks with individuals all over the globe, making what I do that little bit more special!

I am a firm believer that creating a comfortable, relaxing and pleasant environment for all of my clients is equally as important as the artistic, custom made photographs I create. Therefore, before I shoot, I make it my duty to ensure all clients are confident in what they would like to see produced, comfortable with their surroundings , and content with the end photographic results. The Three Cs.

“Photography can defeat time.

Images can keep the memory of a loved one alive, hold a moment in history for future generations, be a witness to tragedy or joy.

It can also change behaviour, stimulate understanding and create a sense of urgency that will move people to action.

Photography speaks to the heart.”
